Billing and usage charges

  • Catalogue, Get started and checkout amounts are before VAT. The total today before you sign is the M-Pesa amount; VAT appears on the eTIMS invoice after payment.
  • Your usage balance tracks purchased usage for SMS, voice, USSD and storage — not a cash wallet you can withdraw.
  • Customer ticket/shop payments settle to your merchant account, never into your usage balance.

  • A branded SMS sender name, a unique caller number and a reply route are different products.
  • Only the affected channel waits on network approval — other modules can still be configured.
